The Bone & Joint Clinic Provides Comprehensive Orthopaedic Care
Families in search of comprehensive orthopaedic care in Williamson County need look no further than The Bone & Joint Clinic in Franklin. The multispecialty clinic has been putting patients back on the mend for more than 25 years.
Dr. Craig Ferrell founded The Bone & Joint Clinic in 1979. He says the practice now draws patients from Nashville as well as several neighboring states.
“Patients enjoy the expertise of a large medical group but with a small-town feel‚” Ferrell says. “The variety of orthopaedic services we provide also sets us apart.”
Specialties include sports medicine‚ total joint replacements‚ hand and upper extremity‚ pediatrics‚ trauma‚ and foot and ankle disorders. Spinal surgery also is a rapidly growing division within The Bone & Joint Clinic‚ where plans are under way to add more orthopaedic and rehabilitation specialists.
An on-site surgery center allows once-invasive surgeries to be performed as outpatient procedures‚ while MRI technology and a fully digital X-ray system help physicians provide the most efficient care possible.
Though the clinic has seen tremendous growth throughout the years‚ Ferrell says the group’s commitment to the community it calls home hasn’t changed. The clinic has partnered with the county’s high schools to provide a physician at every home football game and many away games.
Such an agreement‚ he says‚ is made possible by the quality and dedication of physicians at The Bone & Joint Clinic. Ferrell says the county’s nationally recognized status as a preferred place to live and work has attracted some of the top specialists in the field.
“The strength of the community is the strength of our practice‚” he says.
